The Center carries out the following activities;

a) To prepare the necessary laboratory infrastructure for scientific and technological research, development and application that will help the development and progress of the region and the country, and to ensure the provision of tools and equipment,

b) To support the research and development activities of researchers at the University and other regional universities,

c) To carry out the necessary analyses and measurements in line with the requests of industrial organizations and other public and private sector organizations, and to prepare and interpret their reports when necessary,

ç) To provide scientific opinions, consultancy and similar services and to issue reports on these services,

d) To cooperate with universities, public institutions, local administrations and private organizations in Turkey and abroad regarding working conditions,

e) To publish various publications on advanced analysis, testing and measurement techniques, to organize conferences, panels, courses, seminars, congresses, scientific meetings, and to participate in such activities in Turkey and abroad,

f) To carry out training and education activities in order to train qualified personnel in the necessary fields and to issue certificates and certificates to those who are successful,

g) To establish laboratories, workshops, observation sites and other facilities necessary for the conduct of research in the field of study; to make widespread and effective use of laboratories and similar facilities available in various units of the University,

ğ) To establish a library and documentation center on advanced analysis, testing and measurement techniques and to carry out all kinds of publication and broadcasting activities in these fields,

h) To prepare research and application projects upon the request of industrial organizations and other private and public institutions for a fee to be determined by the Board of Directors,

ı) To establish new laboratories and units affiliated to the Center when necessary,

i) To collaborate with technopolis and similar organizations to produce interdisciplinary and joint projects with industry,

j) To work for the accreditation of laboratories,

k) To perform other duties assigned by the Rector in accordance with the objectives of the Center.
