Students who successfully completed the Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope (STEM) Training held at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University received their certificates from Rector Özölçer.

The certificate ceremony for the STEM Training, organized under the coordination of Dr. Cengiz Temiz at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) and held both theoretically and practically on December 26–27, 2024, took place at the Tahir Karauğuz Conference Hall with the participation of BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer.

The ceremony was attended by BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer, Director of the Continuing Education Center Dr. Emel Kesim, Director of ARTMER Dr. Sinem Çolak, deputy directors, numerous academics, and students. During the event, STEM Certificates were presented to the students.

Thanks to the STEM Training successfully completed by a total of 106 students, participants had the opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in advanced microscopic analysis techniques. In his speech at the ceremony, BEUN Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Özölçer emphasized the importance of such training in the professional development of students, stating:

“As Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, we place great importance on equipping our students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical, industry-related skills. Trainings in high-tech fields like STEM serve as important stepping stones in our students’ career journeys. Therefore, I congratulate all students who successfully completed the program. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of the Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope (STEM) Training Program and hope that such initiatives will continue to increase at our university.”

The STEM Certificate Ceremony concluded with a group photo session following the distribution of certificates.
